Largest Thing in the Universe
Japanese astronomers have discovered the largest thing in the universe:a colossal structure 200 million light-years wide that looking like a swarm of giant green jellyfish.These are enormous object containing cluster of galaxies which are surrounded by gas clouds,know as Lyman alpha blobs.These object are found by using Subaru and Keck telescope(which are given below).
Because these object is so far away, the astronomers are infect looking at something from 12 billion years ago.Scientist believe that these galactic blob could reveal that how and when earliest galaxies formed.The galaxies within blobs are packed together, four times closer than the universe’s average.Some of gas bubbles are up to 400,000 light years across, it is nearly twice the diameter of our neighboring Andromeda Galaxy. Scientists think they were formed when massive stars born early in the history of the universe exploded as supernovas and blew out their surrounding gases.
scientists say.”These galactic blobs are aligned along three curvy filaments that formed about 2 billion years after the universe exploded into existence”.
